I love the machine it works your legs really good. The building process is a little weird because of the instructions it doesnt have step-by-step it just has picture.

Well built machine for the price.

This machine is well built and sturdy for home use. I like the angle adjustments in both plates, which allows for the best setup for each person. These adjustments are better than many commercial machines. It's a good value for the money and should last as long as I will need it. It took a friend and I about 2 hours to put it together after I sorted the bolts, washers, etc., by size. It works smoothly and I have gotten good workouts, Just a couple of quality issues, there were too many of one bolt and not enough of one of the washers, but I had some to fit. Also, the lower plate did not fit at the hinge and I had to modify the hinge width slightly to make it fit. If not for that it would have gotten 5 stars all around.

Great machine for isolating the legs without worrying about having a spotter!

Shipping - Once shipped, the GLPH1100 took 5 days to arrive from UPS Freight. They called 1 day before to make sure someone will be home to accept delivery.. The 5 boxes came strapped to a wooden pallet and all boxes were in pristine condition.

Setup - I unloaded every piece and laid them across the floor. I also seperated each different type of nut and bolt and labeled them on a piece of paper according to the instructions. A1 has 20 pieces, A2 has 4, etc. Once you get going, it moves pretty fast. The only time I needed assistance was when installing the actual sled between the 2 guide rails. The sled weighs somewhere around 75 pounds if I had to guess. Total time to install was 5 hours but I lost some time because my dog kept stealing parts from me.

Leg day - I noticed right away that the safety catches were really hard to open and close. I took some WD-40 to the hinges and it made all the difference in the world. They now open and close without any real effort. After this minor adjustment, I loaded up the hack squat and went to work. And boy does it work. My legs were on fire after 4 sets of squats and then 4 sets of presses.

If you have the room and the money, buy this unit. It will provide benifits for years to come.
