The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Jr. HM250 is a compact air purifier designed for indoor environments where smoke, formaldehyde, volatile organic compounds, gases, odors, allergens, and airborne particles are a concern. Its four-stage filtration system combines two particle pre-filters, an enhanced carbon and zeolite blend, and True Medical Grade HEPA filtration.

With 6.5 lb of activated carbon, potassium iodide-impregnated carbon, and zeolite plus 30 sq. ft. of HEPA media, the HM250 provides broad filtration in homes, offices, dental practices, and other smaller spaces with elevated particle or chemical contamination.

  • Stage 2: Medium-particle pre-filter helps capture smaller particles such as mold spores and pollen.
  • Stage 3: 6.5 lb blend of activated carbon, potassium iodide-impregnated carbon, and zeolite targets VOCs, formaldehyde, benzene, chemicals, gases, and odors.
  • Stage 4: 30 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA removes 99.97% of particles larger than 0.3 microns and 99% of particles larger than 0.1 microns.

The complete filter is designed to last up to five years under normal residential use. Replacement instructions are available in the owner's manual.
