The Austin Air HealthMate HM400 Air Purifier is designed for everyday indoor air-quality concerns in homes, offices, bedrooms, and other spaces between approximately 1,000 and 1,500 square feet. Its four-stage filtration system combines particle pre-filters, activated carbon, zeolite, and True Medical Grade HEPA filtration.

Built for continuous operation, the HM400 helps reduce dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, chemicals, gases, odors, bacteria, viruses, and other airborne contaminants. Under normal residential use, its filter is designed to last up to five years with minimal routine maintenance.

Austin Air HealthMate HM400 Four-Stage Filtration System

  • Stage 1: Large-particle pre-filter helps capture visible contaminants such as dust, hair, and pet dander.
  • Stage 2: Medium-particle pre-filter helps capture small to medium particles including mold spores and pollen.
  • Stage 3: More than 780 cubic inches of activated carbon and zeolite help adsorb chemicals, volatile organic compounds, gases, and odors.
  • Stage 4: 60 square feet of True Medical Grade HEPA material removes 99.97% of particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of particles larger than 0.1 microns.
